I wear my hair down almost everyday, specially if i am going out. I hate my ears so want to keep them covered up, but as summer is coming i want a hairstyle that means i can put my hair up without my ears showing !! my hair is quite long , half way down my back and it is layered. anybody have any suggestions ???

yes, you can. i actually have the same problem and all. whenever i wear my hair up, i wear low. for example, i wear a low ponytail, and then i be sure that my hair is covering my ears. another way to do that is wear a low braid. you can also pull the front half of your hair up with a tie (covering your ears while pulling back) and then tie al of your hair together, like a ponytail within a ponytail

Ok well if they really stuck out then your doctor etc. may have recommended an operation to get them pinned back.

You are probably the only one who notices them-how many people who are sensible and intelligent have told you that they stick out?

I personally don't look at peoples ears very often and I highly doubt that other people do.

Be proud of your ears and show them off, don't boil in the heat because you are self concious. Good luck :).

Try a ponytail with hair tendrils out at the front. If your hair is thick this works especially well, since its layered it should be fine. If you want a little more coverage, try curling all your hair, or curl the front pices and pull them down for wave.

you could put it in a low bun/ponytail, that way the sides cover your ears. to spice it up a bit, you could put a flower in the side of it or use a decorative clip.

this isn't really an updo, but it'll get the hair out of your face: take a clip and clip your bangs/the front of your hair back.

there's also pulling it back into a "half ponytail", as I like to call them. where you just clip back the top half of your hair.

If you have long bangs you can use them to cover your ears. Pulling your hair into a messy bun, braid, or ponytail can go with long loose bangs.

Bangs also frame you face. This makes you face look longer and thinner

you should wear it in loose waves or do somehting to give it more volume. for a simple hairstyle you can wear it in a low pnoytail over your ears

you can take about two inches of the front of your hair (at the top) and clip it back with it poofing up a little bit. then you can do anything thats low.........
